Yeah! 29th June 2008! Marks the end of 1st month for RedPEA Season 3! So far, response is picking up and people are more aware of this roadshow. I beleive that this could only get better!

In anyways, had enjoyed working back in RedPEA. Its been awesome!

I'll Miss You

From the first day, Red PEA has been a very influential part of my working experience here in McDonalds.
Remember my lost shoes at Grace's place? Hahax, i'll never forget that.
Then we had training at KAP with Jaelle and all the Muslims had loud grumbling stomachs in front of her (cos it was the fasting month).
Our many outings in smaller groups, then our countdown together. Many scoldings from Grace, from our english, to the singing, to talking in the lift. Haix, im going to miss everything in Red PEA. Especially the people here.
Starting out from Red Team, borrowed by Green Team twice before officially moving over. The newspaper interview, TV ad, the limelight every Sunday. Wow, i'll miss everything.
The many times people in the van are amused and amazed at what i do in it! I remember the time i found out Christine understands Malay. OMG! hahax.

I wish all of you the very best in this last 2 months. I'm sure you guys would continue having a Suntastic Sunday! And remember, if you need any help with presenting/script/ additional pair of hands for your March shows, call me all right?

Once again, thank you for spending your many many Sundays with me. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed it with you. For more information and to keep in contact, call my handphone or drop me an sms. Once again, thank you and have a great day ahead!

and from do not know each other,as each months and every sunday passed,all of us get to know each other and also become so well-bond and having fun together.

although sometimes there might be some cock up during the red pea event..some conflicts among us..some of us bicker here and there..

but then we still have fun and enjoy ourselves..:))

FAZSAIMAR'S DAY OUT at PIZZA HUT

As the name suggest, we 3 went out over to Bukit Timah Plaza well, to have dinner.. PIZZA HUT.. haha.. i had a blasting time with them. It was a fruitful experience for the 3 of us and we wish to share this with all our fellow Red Pea Mates.

Well, us being in the service industry for some time, we decided to you know, pay extra attention to the service provided by them.. so here is the list of our observation..

1) Personalised call to inform us that they had seating for us
2) Greeted warmly by the staff there
3) The staff was patient with us when we decided to change our seating last minute
4) Fast service provided when changing seating
5) Staff open small conversation with us
6) Check to see if everything is ok meal served correctly

Well, during our dinner, we talked about my trip in Medan, as most of you are aware, there was earthquake there when i was in Medan. We talked about how i felt and how all the STARs know about this.

The topic transits over to political issues and then to religious issues haha.. and then to ghost stories. Can you imagine talking that at pizza hut over dinner? haha

Anyways, we 3 decided to write a complimentary letter and to top that off, i gave her my McD Postcards, with the 3 of us signing on it.. hehe.. aww..

Oh ya, and someone asked for SITI's number..lols.. EXPECTED...

· 20 Red Pea stores

2) Schedule for 4th Nov Red Pea is out.

4) Edited and finalized Red Pea presenter script.

· Any of the STARs who has spare Balloon Pump ( not hand pump) to get back to Irene or Me (Fazillah) should you be able to (on loan) the balloon pump for Red Pea décorteam.
· Registration process. How can we ensure a smooth flow during Red Pea Event?
· Checklists have to be created.
· Registration table card holder 2 sets.

Closing of WCC Grand Opening

Heyya peeps!

This blog is dedicated to ALL who have helped in one way or another in the WCC Grand Opening.

Firstly, to Uncle Fad and Mr Saiful! i must say that it ain't easy to plan and execute a spectacular Grand Opening. To be honest, that was the first time i ever went and help in a Grand Opening after 5 years working in McD . hehe.. I ve trully learnt alot from the both of u!

Next to all the decor team! Gosh! i do not know how you guys and gals work on that. Having to wake up so early in the morning to do decor, despite being sleepy or tired all of you were so hype up during the Red Pea Programme!

Following that, to Charmaine. despite that not so good mic, you still carry on doing what you have to. That determination you showed to continue running the art session was marvellous.
P/S: you can draw while you talk to the audience . kuddos!

And last but not least, without this person we would not have been together to celebrate this joyous occasion . Irene! Thank You for beleiving in this team!

Please get a good night's rest on Friday night so that you guys look fresh on that day! Everyone is to put on make-up (including the guys) so as to look presentable.
Idah and Sanggeetha, I will pick you guys up around 6+am so that we can do all the neccessary set-up/decor. Ms Fazi and Char-char-maine, be natural, calm, and do your best for the presentation. REMINDER for Red Pea Emcee STARs,

Hello there,

this entry serves as a reminder for all of you to take note for the upcoming emcee training.

HOMEWORK or if you have any other better nice words to use ( Assignments?)

1) Try these 3 different ways to learn on pronounciation.

- Watch the news. Listen to the broadcaster ( only the presenter).
-Watch the news. Mute the volume of your television and read the subtitles( listen to yourself)
- Watch the news. Increase the volume and listen to both of the presenters & read the text ( Check out the grammar)

2) Keep track on latest news updates (for your own general knowledge)

3) Mouth exercise ( We have all gone through this training in STAR Development Program Level 1)

To bring for next meeting.

- Cosmetic items by both males & females( moisturiser, brushers, false eyelashes, foundation)

You may liaise with Saiful, Fadhil and Tommy if you need to purchase them. Most probably cosmetic shopping day will be on Friday.

Please take note that the above tips and assignments posted here is for all of us to learn from. It doesn't matter if you are 1 of the emcee's or not..

WCC GO is coming and let's make it BIG! Whoever who wants to go shopping for cosmetic.. You know who to look for now.

Despite coming from different places;from work and school, all of them stayed together throughout the training.

There were indeed a lot of tips shared around. Helping one another to improve on their weaknesses.Tapping on each individual strengths.

Improvements can be seen by these individuals and everyone is confident that one day we will make McDonald Proud and uphold the Red Pea Team name!!
